Sometimes I ask him to wiggle his ass for me, and my enjoyment of that feeds his enjoyment of doing it. He responds very well to my pleasure when the requests are completed, and to my pleasure with him for doing them. If you focus on your pleasure and on expressing your pleasure to him, you may find that he can thrive on that. :) If he doesn't want to do something, I'm sure he can tell you why and suggest an agreeable alternative.
